We are a Women’s Organization hosting the Eastern Western Women Film Festival with a purpose and a mission to encourage Eastern and Western Female celebrities and filmmakers to address women/girls and human rights matters in their efforts to bring awareness and impact societies worldwide through their films.

The EWWFF has created a platform to encourage Women in films on both sides of the world to unite, collaborate, and promote cultural diversity to empower their audience through storytelling addressing women’s violations to life, transforming viewers to feel compassion and demand justice for all.

Developing a platform for brave women on both sides of the lens so their audiences can learn how individual devotion can change the world.

The festival showcases movies by emerging talents and renowned women filmmakers and invites filmmakers worldwide to highlight women rights issues in their work.

• Our Goals

Eastern Western Women Film Festival is created for Women by Women with the vision to build workshops for women and girls in different regions across the globe. The workshops will provide the necessary tools and resources to learn a skill, a trade or a talent to empower and equip women to become more self-sufficient, strong and independent.

Women globally suffer from marginalization, discrimination, and societal oppression due to the system of customs and traditions at times, thus blurring the features of promising talents. Every woman deserves a chance to pursue her dreams. We aim to open one workshop from the East to the West yearly, starting with Egypt.

• Mission

Assist and support women’s creativity and empowerment through cinema and art by raising awareness and ending violence against women and girls.

We will achieve our mission by collaborating with celebrities, filmmakers, women of power and influence, and organizations around the world, such as the internationally established film festivals directed towards the development of women’s groups, women’s business groups, women’s academies, and supporting women’s organizations in all aspects of life who share the same passion and want to make an impact.
